Lines of Symmetry

As you are now all familiar with congruent shapes from last term, we are beginning with lines of symmetry. Note: Please click on congruence for a refresher.



The attached video is on lines of symmetry so you can better understand that it is all around us.

Here is an interactive activity to continue what we have been learning in class. Bring your results to class on Monday. We will discuss what you thought of the activity.

For an extra challenge you are to complete your very own pattern on a peice of paper. Figure out how many lines of symmetry your pattern has. Don't forget to bring it in to class.
